The Northern Ireland team's success on the pitch at the Euros in France has created operational problems for local tour operator, Travel Solutions.

The company is reporting a huge demand for flights this weekend, with staff arriving at their Belfast office this morning to find supporters queuing outside.

Extra Virgin Flights Vote of Confidence in NI Market

Belfast International Airport says the decision by Virgin Atlantic to double the number of flights from Northern Ireland to Orlando in June and July next year is a real vote of confidence in the local market.

From June 2017, two flights per week will depart for the 'Sunshine State' bringing to eight the total number of direct flights to operate over the ensuing peak summer four-week period.

Hidden Airline Fees to be Probed by CAA

Hidden fees charged by airlines for services such as changing a name on a ticket or checking in at the airport rather than online are set to be investigated by the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA).

The watchdog will assess whether costs are presented to customers in an "open and clear" way in its review of every airline selling tickets in the UK.

Flybe has marked the 30th anniversary of its popular Belfast City to Birmingham service.

In three decades of operation the service has covered some 22 million miles - the equivalent distance of travelling almost 50 times to the moon and back!

Dublin Airport has won a major European award for the way in which it deals with disabled passengers and those travelling with reduced mobility.

Tenth Anniversary Mela the Biggest Yet

There will be more than a taste of the exotic in store this summer as Northern Ireland's biggest celebration of cultural diversity prepares to celebrate its tenth anniversary in colourfully eclectic style.

Belfast Mela, launched in 2007 by the pioneering ArtsEkta ethnic arts organisation, will bring a wonderful world of entertainment to the Belfast Botanic Gardens over August Bank Holiday weekend, as it celebrates 10 fabulous years with the addition of an extra night of music, dance and theatre in a special festival 'Big Top' on the evening of Saturday, August 27.

Stag and Hen 'Armageddon' This Weekend

Stag and Hen Party specialist company Last Night of Freedom has issued a 'stag and hen Armageddon' warning around the world for this weekend, June 25.

The company's new technology tool, the Last Night of Freedometer, predicts that over 3900 stag and hen groups will be hitting towns around the world, including Marbella, Krakow, Manchester and Cardiff.

Like many popular cruise lines, Celebrity Cruises says it will be broadcasting all the summer's most hotly anticipated sporting events on its Solstice and Millennium Class ships.

Guests onboard can stay up to date with all the sporting action including the rest of the UEFA Euro 2016 tournament, the Wimbledon Championships, the Formula 1 British Grand Prix and the Rio Olympic Games all being aired across the fleet.
