Following seven eventful years as front-line Editor of the Belfast News Letter, John Trew wisely opted for the quieter pleasures of travel journalism.  Now, after 23 years and 270,000 miles, he is living proof that travel not only broadens the mind but the buttocks.  However, he no longer needs to experience Caribbean hurricanes, Spanish floods or French national transport chaos, having been there, done that and got the tee-shirt (which was later mugged off his back in Morocco).
