FOLLOWING the announcement of a new bmibaby service to Birmingham from Belfast International Airport, BIA now claims to have blanket coverage of the whole of the UK Mainland.
With almost 50 flights a day to Britain, including 14 daily flights to London, the Airport now offers flights to all of the major regional
population centres.

When the bmibaby service begins in January, BIA will serve 14 of the Top 15
UK airports with regular daily jet services.
This coming winter will also see easyJet increase its daily flights to
Newcastle, from two to three services daily, hot on the heels of the recent
increase in London Gatwick services up to four daily. In addition bmibaby
will increase daily flights to Manchester from three to four with effect
from their Winter timetable.
Uel Hoey, Business Development Director, explains: "Although we are striving hard to further enhance international access from Belfast International Airport, the UK remains the core market for Northern Ireland."For that reason it is vitally important that we have excellent air links
which are user friendly for business and leisure travellers to and from Great Britain.
"These new services and developments from Belfast International significantly bolster the UK network offering. BIA will continue to work
proactively with our airline partners to ensure that the network of services and fares remains attractive to the consumer for the broader benefit of the
Northern Ireland region."
