A GRAND total of £2, 650 was raised for the Ulster Cancer Foundation's Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign at the Northern Ireland Travel and Tourism Awards Gala.
The charity ballot achieved the largest sum raised to date at the prestigious ceremony at the Slieve Donard Hotel.
Derval Keenan, PR and Events Officer of Ulster Cancer Foundation was over the moon when she called at the Northern Ireland Travel News office to receive the cheque.
"I am really delighted to receive such a sum on behalf of the Ulster Cancer Foundaiton," she said.
"I would like to think the members of the travel and tourism industry for their generosity.
"The money raised will be used ito promote Breast Cancer Awarness in the Province."

Royal Caribbean's Jo Rzymowska won two business class tickets to London courtesy of bmi, while Uel Hoey of Belfast International Airport won a Larne to Cairnryan crossing for four people plus car, courtesy of P&O Irish Sea.
A weekend break for two plus hotel and flights to see the Ulster V Biarritz rugby game was won by Peter Kelly of the Ulster American Folk Park courtesy of Classic Sports Travel, while Simone D'arcy of Going Places' Newtownabbey Branch won a weekend break for two at the Slieve Donard Hotel.
