THOMAS Cook, the world's best-known name in travel, now offers Northern Ireland holidaymakers the chance to travel to three holiday hotspots -
Majorca, Cyprus and Turkey - next summer, with flights direct from Belfast International airport.
The new programme operates from Belfast to Palma (Majorca), Bodrum and Dalaman (Turkey) every Monday and Paphos (Cyprus) and Antalya (Turkey) every Tuesday from June 26 to July 25, 2006.
"Holidaymakers in Northern Ireland will now be able to use the convenience of their own local airport rather than travelling via a UK airport," said a
Thomas Cook spokesman.
"Research shows that there is a high demand for operators to provide holidays using Belfast International airport and these destinations in
particular have really soared in popularity.
"At Thomas Cook we are celebrating being the first company to have taken holidaymakers on a foreign holiday 150 years ago.
" By adding these new holidays on direct flights during the busiest summer weeks we continue to look at ways to be innovative for the next 150 years!"
