Red Sea Resort direct from Belfast

PANORAMA have confirmed their commitment to their Egyptian programme with the launch of their new dedicated brochure for Summer 2006.

In particular, The resort of Sharm el Sheikh, which was the target of a terrorist bomb in July, has been added to their Summer programme from Belfast International.

On July 23 of this year, three bombs exploded in Sharm el Sheikh killing around 63 people and injuring 24.

John Riley Head of Marketing said: "The fact that we are extending our Egyptian programme is indicative of the fact that our commitment to the country is stronger than ever before."

"Bookings taken so far for Summer 06 from our main Summer Sun brochure are testament to both the country's growing popularity and the truly unique holiday experience that Egypt offers".

Sharm el Sheikh, on the Red Sea Riviera, is a popular resort for divers and the stretch of reef called the Reef Table is considered to be one of the top ten diving resorts in the world.

And with an abundance of sun, sea and sand coupled with five-star resorts, water sports and shopping, there is also plenty for non-divers to do.

Panorama have also added the resorts of Dahab, Nuweiba and Soma Bay to their Egyptian programme, which also offers world-class diving and snorkelling as well as continuing to offer Taba Heights, Makida Bay, Hurgada, El Gouna, Luxor Aswan, Cairo and Nile cruises.

The Brighton-based operator is also offering five to eight-day tours to Jordan which can be twinned with a holiday in Egypt or booked as a dedicated tour, but those wishing to travel to Jordan will have to travel out of Heathrow.

"Jordan is steeped in history and offers an incredible choice of amazing sites.

"Our tours encompass Petra and many other ancient cities as well as the coastal resort of Aqaba," said Riley".
