New Ski flights launched

SKI McNeill, Northern Ireland's largest provider of ski travel, has launched six new dedicated flights for the coming winter ski season, departing from George Best City Airport and Belfast International Airport. The move represents a significant growth in the number of seats now available from Northern Ireland to diverse ski resorts in Europe and the USA.

Tricia Mitchell, Manager of Ski McNeill commented: "The demand for ski travel from Northern Ireland has increased significantly in the last couple of years.

"For Ski McNeill, these new dedicated flights represent a 235 percent increase for this coming ski season compared to 2006/07. This is a big investment for Ski McNeill but we know that our customers are thrilled to be able to access these new ski destinations from Belfast."

The new flights will reach Barcelona and the alpine regions of Italy, France, Switzerland and Austria. The flights will run from December 22, 2007 to March 22, 2008. In addition, Northern Ireland skiers can now reach the popular Canadian ski resort of Whistler via the Vancouver flight.

Tricia Mitchell commented: "As well as committing to six additional flights, we have also invested in a state-of-the art online booking system, making us the first Northern Ireland company to facilitate ski bookings online.

"Alongside our highly experienced ski team, this system will take the pressure off by offering customers direct access to their booking as well as offering expertise and advice on resorts, the slopes and accommodation."

Seven day holiday packages start at just £219 per week. The experts at Ski McNeill can advise those best for beginners, advanced, snowboarders, family, short breaks, mixed groups, après ski or luxury.
