Busy Lapland Season Ahead
It might be early but Canterbury Travel, the Lapland specialist, is set for a busy winter season and has launched its new 2005 brochure with direct departures from Belfast. This year's programme offers the widest choice of tours at the best locations above the Arctic Circle. There is a total of 19 tours departing from Belfast,Dublin and Cork between December 2 and December 27. Included are two one-day Belfast departures on Sunday,December 4 and Saturday, December 10.
If you want to take yourself off to snow-white skies with Canterbury then you can enjoy reindeer rides, husky rides, skidoo and sleigh rides and of course the dream of meeting Santa himself - all in one day of magic. The good news is that there is no price increase on the one-day tours. Prices remain the same as 2004 - £399 for adults and £379 for children up to 11 years of age.
Canterbury is offering limited free child places on all its one-day departures - with each party of two adults and two children the youngest child in the party will receive the free child place. This early booking offer is subject to availability . For those with a little more time, Canterbury's programme offers a choice of two, three, four and five day tours from Dublin to Lapland. Canterbury's tours are fully inclusive. They include return flights, transfers, rides as specified with each tour, meals, accommodation on the overnight tours, loan of over-garments and boots for all outdoor activities and gifts for children as specified in Canterbury's brochure.
