As part of a nationwide rationalisation by parent company Mytravel the Donegall place branch of Going places is to close later this month.The Donegall Place store is the only one of 17 Northern Ireland stores to be affected by the cutbacks.

Mytravel said internet booking made up 16% of booking compared to 9% last year.

The Company has said that staff will be offered the option of relocating to other branches.
