Direct flights from Belfast International to Las Vegas

THE flights of Las Vegas are shining more brightly for Northern Ireland local holidaymakers today.
Charter operator MyTravel has announced that it will be launching direct flights from Belfast International to Las Vegas, the entertainment capital
of the world, in March 2008. This will be the first ever direct flight to Western USA direct from
Belfast, and offers local travellers the chance to sample the delights that Vegas has to offer on seven or 14-night breaks.
John Doran, Managing Director, Belfast international Airport, said: "We are delighted with the introduction of this flight to Las Vegas.
"Local holidaymakers will be able to fly direct to one of the United States"
most amazing cities and all from their local airport. We are committed to offering travellers as much choice as possible and we believe Las Vegas will
be a fantastic addition to the growing list of destinations available from Belfast International Airport."
Las Vegas is probably the number one entertainment city in the world, and is extremely popular with travellers from the Province.
The centre of gambling in the United States, Las Vegas is sometimes called Sin City because of the popularity of legalised gambling and the
availability of alcohol at all times of the day. Its glamorous image has made it a popular setting for many TV programmes and films.
Charter operators already provide around 50-non stop services to a wide range of destinations across the world 10 of which are transatlantic -
from Belfast International Airport.
