Europe's third largest low-cost airline announced passenger numbers and load factor continued to grow, releasing figures for last month.

In June 2006, 1,502,509 passengers flew with Air Berlin, a 14.92 percent increase on the same month the previous year (1,307,494 passengers).

Airberlin commenced Belfast to Stanstead route earlier this year.
