12th direct Servive for flyBe

FLYBE, the largest carrier operating out of Belfast City Airport, began its twelfth direct service on
March 28. The new Belfast to Aberdeen route completes a hat-trick of Scottish services for the airline.
Andrea Hayes, flyBE's General Manager for Market Development said: "Following the launch of our
services to Edinburgh and Glasgow earlier this year, Aberdeen was a natural addition to the Scottish
portfolio."The first two Scottish routes have performed exceptionally well and we have added an extra rotation to our services to Glasgow.""As Scotland's third largest city, and the gateway to
the Highlands we expect Aberdeen to be an equally popular destination for Northern Ireland travellers. A
prosperous cosmopolitan city with a rich cultural offering, Aberdeen also provides a springboard to a
wide range of scenic experiences from Royal Castles to dramatic coastlines. Andrea said that this latest addition was part of flyBE's ongoing commitment to providing an unrivalled low cost airline service to all the major regional population centres in the UK. "Introducing Aberdeen to the destination menu from
Belfast City Airport means that we now provide Northern Ireland travellers with the largest domestic
route network covering the length and breadth of Great Britain," she added.
The Belfast City to Aberdeen service will initially provide one flight per day departing Belfast at
12.50pm.
Lead-in one way fares start at £19 inclusive of taxes and charges.
