FALCON has announced that it has added 12 franchisees to its existing 21 Falcon Travel Shops in the Republic, as part of expansion plans in its
retail division.
The seven independent travel agencies with 12 outlets have been, or are in the process of being rebranded as Falcon Travel Shops.
Skytours, one of Ireland's largest independent travel agents, became Falcon's first Falcon Travel Shop franchisee in early December and now
operates its three Dublin-city based stores under the Falcon brand.
The remaining travel agents are in the process of being rebranded as Falcon Travel Shops and this will be completed over the next month. These are
Donabate Travel in Co. Dublin; Star Travel in Drogheda; Gail Travel in Ennis; Sol International, Tralee; Diamond Travel, Navan and Ace Travel in
Limerick, which has four outlets.
Prior to Christmas Falcon rebranded its existing retail chain First Choice Travel Shops to Falcon Travel Shops in a move towards a single brand
strategy for its business.

"Our franchise expansion programme is now well underway and with the addition of these 12 new stores, the Falcon Travel Shop brand will have
heightened exposure throughout the country.
"I can also confirm that we are in discussion with a number of other potential franchises of which we are confident that we will be adding to our
Falcon Travel Shop brand over the coming months." There are now 33 Falcon Travel Shops in the Republic of Ireland.
