WITH so much greenery adorning County Fermanagh, it's only fair that the county caters for the golfing fraternity.
Enniskillen golf Club was founded in 1896 and is situated approximately one mile from Enniskillen centre. It's an 18 hole, par 71 parkland course where mature oak and beech over 100 years old line the narrow fairways.
The opening 'Road Hole' here has been described by many as the most intimidating starting hole they've played... something all aspiring golfers should test out.
Although the opening nine holes have been in existence for only 16 years, trees and shrubbery are well matured and will cause some players the occasional problem.

Castle Hume Golf club in Fermanagh is another fine course. It's only a few minutes away from Enniskillen and is quickly emerging as one of the best golfing facilities in Ireland.
The course here provides golfers of all skill levels with a very enjoyable, yet testing challenge.
Highly manicured and contoured greens are a real delight to putt on, and numerous bunkers and water hazards create a challenge for even the most confident participants of the sport.
