Celebrate Mela And Win Return Flights To India!
Tuesday, 31 August 2010 Celebrating culture and creativity, the Mela is a showcase of ethnic music, dance, arts and food from over 30 nations across the globe. Crowds are in for a variety of treats as the event is jam packed with a show stopping schedule including the Grand Mela Raffle which will take place on Sunday, August 29, between 5.30-6.00pm on the World Stage. As well as the main prizes the organisers are offering visitors the opportunity to win some other great prizes for just £1 per ticket. These include: A return crossing for a car and family on Belfast - Stranraer service served by Stena Line A Pair of First Class Return Train Tickets from Belfast to Dublin served by NI Railways One night for two in a Deluxe Room in 5 star Merchant Hotel, Belfast Dinner for Two at Gingeroot Indian Restaurant A Far Eastern Hamper supplied by ArtsEkta Jam-packed with international music and dance, world food, craft and ethnic markets, cookery theatre by celebrity Indian chef, Manju Mali' a Rajasthani ethnic circus and an interactive Culture Trip area for children - all these ensure that the Belfast Mela remains one of NI's most popular festivals for a fun cultural and creative family day out! Tickets can be purchased on the day at a number of information points placed throughout the Botanic Gardens. It is day not to be missed on the bank holiday weekend.
