Stena Line is offering children, up to the age of 15 years, free travel on all of its five Irish Sea routes, when a car booking is made during National Ferry Fortnight, which runs right up until the end of the month, March 31.

In Northern Ireland there are approximately 850,000 kids of age 15 years and under and when combined with the amount of children throughout the rest of the UK and Ireland this would equate to almost £30 million worth of free travel.

Stena Line's Head of PR and Communications, Diane Poole, OBE hopes the 14 days of National Ferry Fortnight will help focus attention on just how far ferry travel has transformed in recent years as well as highlight the benefits of ferry travel, commenting: "National Ferry Fortnight is a great opportunity to bring the ferry travel into the spotlight.
